RGNT No.1
powered by Abtery

Abtery will develop the powertrain and perform test and validation on the RGNT No.1 electric motorcycle

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – (18/09/2019) - We are pleased to announce that Abtery will develop the entire powertrain for the RGNT No.1 motorcycle where the production is set to start in 2020. Abtery will also take part in the validation and homologation process of the motorcycle. The RGNT No.1 is a fully electric motorcycle with a retro design inspired by the 60’s and 70’s era which was a great apex in motorcycle design history.

Nearly 300 RGNT No.1s have already been pre-ordered, and it shows that the interest for a retro styled electric motorcycle is present. The fusion of modern technology and legendary design gives the bike a truly inspiring feel. It will feature a 72 volts battery with 80 Ah, giving it a range of 150 km and a top speed of 120 km/h. The motor will be a maintenance-free hub motor that can produce 11-20 hp on the current setup.

We are proud to take part in such an iconic product, and we know that with Abtery technology powering the entire drivetrain, this will be a truly unique and beloved combination of performance, reliability and riding experience.

The Abtery team has a long record of building cutting edge electric vehicles and all that experience will be put into the RGNT No.1 with confidence. We take great pride in our work, and we always want to ensure that when you see a product that states “Powered by Abtery” it’s a product you can rely on. The RGNT No.1 is no exception.
