WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible to create concepts and design mechanical solutions in different projects and provide technical support to other departments. You will analyze technical requirements and convert them into validated designs to meet the requirements.

Also included in the daily work:

• 3D design

• Drawings

• Engineering documentation

• Research

• Ensure that designs follow applicable business and industry standards

• Process improvement

• Keep updated within the field of new materials and methods of development

• Testing for design verification

At ABTERY, we work both individually and in teams, supporting development projects with know-how and expertise within our respective fields. You will have the possibility to be a part of tight and agile crew of experts, where your opinion matters.

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe that you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and that you have professional experience in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia, Creo or similar. Sincere technological interest with the ability to analyze data and propose design solutions, including planning and coordinating the daily work to solve problems effectively. 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and product development and knowledge of different material properties and manufacturing processes, as well as experience within GD&T. Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is essential. Good if you have:

• Experience in product design from concept to start of production

• Knowledge of assessment tools and methods, such as FMEA

• Knowledge in FEM, and static and dynamic analysis
