WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?

The role of Financial Manager is to advise Executive team on appropriate business planning and help in decision making processes to ensure that businesses are financially successful. This might involve advising on investments, savings, or insurance products as well as managing all related financial duties related to the activities of the company. The aim is to enable company executives to make healthy business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

The responsibilities of a Financial Manager include:

• Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements

• Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning

• Preparing and executing all salary related duties

• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure

• Managing budgets

• Developing and managing financial systems/models

• Carrying out or supporting business modelling and risk assessments

• Carrying out risk management activities

• Ensuring that proposed projects are likely to be beneficial

• Making decisions about company funding options, insurance contracts and other financial issues

• Negotiating and evaluating overdrafts and loans with banker

• Maintaining records, bookkeeping, completing and closing month-end reports as well as year-end reports

• Keeping up to date with developments within the profession/industry

• Liaising with company investors, bankers, auditors and senior managers

• Ensure compliance with international and Swedish accounting frameworks

• Maintain the financial health of the company

• Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances

WHO ARE YOU?

We believe that you have a university degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance and proven professional experience within the financial sector.

It is also essential that you have:

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns

• Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations

Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken) is essential.
